Pros

Flexible work balance. Can leave early or come in late for childcare or health appointments.

Cons

It appears that there are significant issues with professionalism and training within the Finance department in Fort Wayne. The high turnover rate, with 14 different team members and 2 managers in 5 years, is concerning. Additionally, the reported incident of harassment resulting in the departure of one manager is alarming. The lack of guidance and training, coupled with the expectation for employees to have a deep understanding of aerospace technology without proper support, creates a challenging environment for success. Furthermore, the reported dismissive attitude from management towards complaints and questions, as well as the involvement of Ethics and HR multiple times, suggests systemic issues within the department. Overall, this description paints a troubling picture of the work culture and management practices within the Finance department.

Pros

I loved the company and received a lot of recognition for the work I did, for the customers I interacted with which were awesome to work with, the work was simple and easy.

Cons

Even though I received a lot of recognition throughout the company's other sites, I received poor reviews from management. Which then I learned they put a no rehire on me. Sad a company would resort to this and it will fall eventually because the foundation is not strong at all. Poor benefits and lack of support from management. lack of documentation, if any ideas are brought up, management steals them from you. A veteran who worked on my team was called a traitor because he moved sectors to another position. Their moto is null if they are not protecting their own let alone their veterans. Definitely wasted a lot of time here.

Pros

People are generally very nice. I appreciate the focus on education and knowledge sharing with weekly presentations. Location is great as far as weather, beach, and life outside of work, located in the outskirts of San Diego. Importance of the technology you work on and the mission of the company.

Cons

Very complex and stressful work. For someone new to the area, the pay is too low for the cost of living and to support the family and live reasonably nearby. No year-end bonus. Homes are unaffordable unless you commute an hour and half. Depending on where you work, one of facilities is run down and has been needing renovation for a long time. Feels old, depressing, and neglected. The newer main building is better. The small cafeteria usually has only 2 main food options, and the food is not worth it, even though it's discounted pricing. Time management is a little painful and strict with constantly changing and the assignment in projects feels at risk and always caused me anxiety. Work is complex and usually hard to work with not a lot of support.
