-Endless lists of tasks that you will never finish but are randomly asked updates for
-Management and employee turnover extremely high. My direct manager, 2nd level, 3rd, and beyond all changed within a year.
-Understaffed. Don't expect to take PTO when you'd like
-Pay raises are laughable for the amount of work asked of you
-Don't expect to meet other teams or your coworkers. They pitch 9/80 work schedule as a positive but everyone just works through lunch and it kills the culture in the workplace
-Job description/responsibilities constantly changed about 2-3 times a year
-Budgets for training and employee growth runout in the first couple months each year. Don't expect to grow your skill set, go to any conventions, or attend any trainings.
-Education reimbursement budget was non-existent and will not be available unless you apply in January/February
-Changed from PTO + sick time to PTO only system. Tried to swing it as a positive and that "employees now have more PTO." They cut all the sick days and increased PTO by like 1-2 days overall.
-Will try to lowball employees during salary negotiations. I know someone who got paid almost 20k less than everyone else because he didn't question the first number they gave him.
- Little care for general health and safety of employees. Watched a manager ask an assembler to keep working when they were clearly in distress and having a mental breakdown. COVID was absolutely rampant here and they did not care. All they care is if there is going to be an OSHA reportable event or not.
- I can give you more reasons, but if you read this far and are still contemplating working there... Good luck to you. You are going to need it.
