Toxic Culture, Unjust Audits, and Retaliation

Pros

Pay is above average and benefits are exceptional.

Cons

A colleague — a dedicated and outstanding employee — was subjected to what can only be described as an unjust and targeted internal audit. Despite no prior issues and a solid track record, they were singled out, micromanaged, and repeatedly questioned without transparency or fairness throughout the process. The audit found no violations, no misconduct, and no wrongdoing — yet the company chose to terminate them anyway. It was clear to many of us that the audit was less about uncovering real issues and more about intimidation or retaliation. The process lacked objectivity, and the emotional toll it took on the employee was profound. It created a ripple effect throughout the team, damaging morale and trust in leadership. What’s most troubling is the message this sends: even if you do everything right, speak up professionally, and perform well, you can still be harassed, scapegoated, and discarded without cause. If you’re considering working here, be aware that the culture can be punitive rather than supportive, and accountability seems to apply selectively. Respect and fairness should be at the core of any workplace — sadly, that was not our experience.

A Disheartening End to a Long Career

Business Outlook

Pros

1. Opportunities to lead global, cross-functional projects. 2. Exposure to strategic business initiatives and stale holder engagement 3. Positive collaboration with business unit teams and external partners.

Cons

• Performance evaluation lacked transparency: Longstanding contributions were dismissed without clear feedback or dialogue, and ratings felt disconnected from actual achievements. • Poorly managed offboarding process: Termination occurred with minimal notice and no opportunity for internal transition, raising questions about fairness and respect. • Weak HR and compliance response: Reports of inappropriate or unprofessional behavior by senior leadership were not addressed meaningfully, and follow-ups often felt dismissive. • Cultural disconnect: Company values such as respect and inclusion are not always reflected in leadership behavior or decision-making, especially in times of organizational change.
