Pros

Good thing about BASF, safe and clean working environment maintained, with good safety in mind. We can get the required trainings needed to carry out the job on hand. Offers good personnel growth if we work for it.

Cons

Salary not up to requirements, does ot appricate a worker who has worked for many years, BASF takes in new staff to fill up current open positions without considering the skill employees on hand.

A positive start

Pros

Great flexibility in location, willingness to allow employees to relocate across the US and internationally as business needs dictate. Benefits and retirement plans are very competitive. The culture is friendly and fosters cooperation and teamwork as opposed to a very cutthroat environment where your coworker is more likely to steal your work than go out of their way to help you.

Cons

Salary, while competitive amongst the chemical industry does not compete with big oil - which is to be expected despite competing for similar education and talent.

Pros

Decent pay, but higher/lower depending on which business you worked for.

Cons

Manufacturing locations were often hot and dirty.
