Pros

Great benefits Flexible hours and work from home policy Smart colleagues Lots of opportunities within SE Michigan Leading edge science and chemistry; global leader in many areas Scientists with 25-40 years were global experts in their craft - amazing

Cons

Leadership was belligerent and abusive and silenced those who spoke up about capacity constraints and quality risks Hiring and promotion of external consultants over experienced insiders was damaging to business results Witnessed (first hand) obvious bias and gold old boy system at work in interviewing and hiring. an insider candidate was selected over a clearly much more qualified outsider Commute to Wyandotte from Detroit's northern suburbs is simply brutal Onsite HR was largely corrupt, then HR was outsourced to another company and temps; very difficult to get the support you need
