Pros

The group I work with in Agriculture solutions is absolutely wonderful. I am able to complete my work with upper managements complete support and confidence in my abilities. There is flexibility in ways of working, especially with a young family during the challenging pandemic environment. When assistance is needed, colleagues and management is willing to drop what they are doing and assist with the tasks.

Cons

Within my organization, opportunities for advancement do not occur very often as people often sit in positions for quite some time. There are some that also seem to believe in quantity of employees vs quality of employees, which can be frustrating at times.

Pros

It was a good paying job with a reputable company. While there I learned a lot and was able to put that knowledge to work to be successful with this company.

Cons

The BASF plant in Muskegon, MI, closed the doors on August 1, 2021 do to this all employees were laid off.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Nice canteen lunch area. Nice retirement plan.

Cons

-12 hour shifts. -No breaks if no one can cover you, and if you're an operator it's even harder -Have to try to find someone to cover you every single day just to take lunch, which gets old. Couldn't do this for 20 years. -Mandatory long sleeve uniforms - Ambiguous leadership. Rarely get a solid answer to anything - high turnover and understaffed leading to burnout of the people who do show up - Good work ethic/initiative is often milked and goes largely unrewarded - Half your coworkers are trying to do as little as they can get away with
