Business Outlook
Pros
Health care, 401k match, employee support, aversion to layoffs, and overall decent corporate citizen. It’s a large company so the experience folks have is highly dependent on which location you’re at but I have enjoyed my time at BASF for the most part.
Cons
Promotions can be slower than desired, and very difficult to not get a “Meets expectations” on annual review. If your goal is higher salary faster, know many folks that exit out to higher roles and then come back a few years later at a higher level/salary.
