Pros

I'm talking at BASF Korea. Great work and balance. Unlike most asian companies, open-minded company culture. Colleagues seem to respect each other. As an application development engineer, I get full support of lab equipments and other things that I need to do my job more efficiently and better.

Cons

Lower salary compared to other companies in the same industry. I haven't experienced it yet but seniors say that the higher the ladder you go up, the more political it(promotion) becomes. Does not have a good new-comers training program. In fact, it's quite poor. No overtime pay for 'non-exempt' employees...
