Pros

While the company could sometimes a bit conservative, actually has solid fundamentals. The company easily whethers the economic crisis. Provides good development programme for the staff. If you are looking for a structured career management programme, BASF is one of the company to work for.

Cons

Sometimes the country or local units are not reflecting the BASF spirit. Poor management skills leads to exodus of good employees from the company.

Pros

Excellent development possibilities globally and across businesses laterally. Good quality, professional staff. Many opportunities for education and personal development.

Cons

Large bureaucracy demotivating to innovative and entrepreneurial minded employees. In the past years, the opportunity for career growth upwards has been limited and will continue to decline as the company has not achieved its growth strategy and targets.

Cons

Large so not always a personal experience. Management is shaky. It changes a good bit. Its a developing site so a lot of changes constantly.
