Pros

High integrity, science-based company that invests in people and in innovation. Offers opportunity to move between functions and geographies. Many people have happily made their whole career with BASF. Values sustainability.

Cons

As a big company decision-making can be slow and policy implementation uneven. There are invisible but material hurdles to advancement which become visible in the lack of women and those of Asian origin in senior executive roles.
