Pros

The best thing about BASF is working under the great leadership. Many leaders here are very experienced, high emotional intelligence, accept mistakes, know how to control KPIs without micromanaging, trust their employees & allow them to thrive. Other pros include supportive coworker, diverse environment, competitive pay, high bonus, benefits & team building trip outside city. HR & management cares about employee tries to make most but not everyone happy.

Cons

Career development, promotion or lateral movement opportunity is very limited as this is a very competitive environment because they have the best resources here from many background. Some decisions & changes is very top down from global level. Top management here cares about saving cost which is good and also bad as sometimes decisions to let go due to budget could happen very quick. Benefits still need improvement including allowance for parking or transportation. Senior or manager always unavailable due to too many unnecassary meetings & no time control in long calls.
