      Exceptional benefits, one of the strongest financial institutions in the country, outstanding culture, many opportunities for advancement and flexibility with time off. The best bank I had ever worked for.

      Pros

      Having worked in Banking for over 25 years, BB&T has the best culture and environment ever. The company prides itself on family values whereas everyone genuinely likes working in their jobs and it shows in their contributions to the Bank. Cut throat ugly competitiveness is not accepted.

      Cons

      The only real weakness I see for this highly profitable, large regional NC based bank is lack of technology in the business units. BB&T is addressing this shortcoming by slowly enhancing its IT Department and adding more systems that provide input to LOB decision-makers.
