Pros

Overall, the company has great products and there are some very dedicated people that work here. However, there are a lot of people that pretty much do the minimum to get by, and there is a large contingent of employees that yearn for "the old days." They need to grow up and realize that the world has changed and all the whining in the world won't bring it back.

Cons

Too inflexible with customers and there is a pervasive superiority complex among many of the staff. The BD way is not the only way and they need to put a little creativity back into their work.

Pros

Family feel, friendly co-workers who are willing to help. Pay is good Location is excellent - close to major highways and campus is very nice Makes products that are needed (needles, syringes, etc) Communication from senior leadership is good

Cons

Corporate budgets tend to be tight - frequent hiring freezes, travel restricctions BD is resistant to change - "this is the way we've always done it..." Benefits are good, but employee cost keeps rising significantly each year No stock options for lower level (Job Group 3) employees Policies not enforced, there's a lot of inconsistent job titles / salaries across various BD segments Segments / Units compete with each other (this can be good and bad)

stable job, people are professional, nice campus, marketing leader in many area both in U.S. and Worldwide, does not affected by economy much

Cons

too many processess, sometimes it just took too long to get even a very simple thing done. for the divison I was in, it is not very functional.
