      Pros

      The vacation time and independence of working in the field. Company car is nice, but the car selection isn’t the best.

      Cons

      Where should I start? For a medical device company, the medical benefits over the years have been getting worse. Costs constantly going up and you can’t blame that on Obamacare. TSC (the call center) has also went down hill. After the office was opened in San Antonio, the office in San Diego lost most of the TSC agents and years of knowledge. That knowledge that management obviously doesn’t have. That change has started to lose customers in droves. Moving the main portion of TSC to Malaysia and having customers complain about not being able to understand an agent on the phone after waiting 30 minutes on hold.

      Pension, 7.5hr/day, PTO for new fathers

      Cons

      A lot to list. Almost nothing seems to be good so far. No freedom to operate, controlling all communications up to e-mails. A lot of layered reviews. De-motivating. Don't suggest this environment to anyone. Not enough workplace flexibility, military camp mentality. I am very shocked.

      Slow moving, process oriented, limited growth for Star performers

      Good pay. stable, growing, low stress, decent products, good work life balance, decent perks

      Cons

      Slow moving, limited growth opportunities for tar performers, lots of mediocre employees in high positions that hinder work, committee decisions are slow, layoffs in September like clockwork, too many management layers.
