Benefits and a salary are pros to being employed.

Cons

No work life balance, exploitation of workers both here and internationally, copious rewards for sales people but nothing for the workers who fill their order or manage their accounts. You make glorified garbage with brand names on it. Stuff that winds up in the trash less than 24 hours later. Totally worthless way to sell your soul.
