Pros

salary is OK; good bonuses for working on holidays - 2 days extra or double-pay.

Cons

high level management is absolutely rude and disrespectful while mid- and low- level leads are OK. Using Gmail for company mail...come on, this is just not serious. Unlogical decisions regarding technology used.

Low morale and politics

Pros

it is in center city

Cons

business doesn't care about the software quality at all, lots of work and unclear requirements are shoved to you with unrealistic expectations and unclear requirements, a lot of politics to go through just to get little done. High turn over rate. Upper management are usually friends of the owners family or relative.

Pros

Great for desk work. Regular 9-5 weekday job. Great for experience.

Cons

Terrible management team. It’s a family owned company so many people have poor work ethic because jobs are set in stone for those people. They do not train well. The woman who trained me complained about having to train me. The manager and co worker both fought at each other to get things done. Lots of employees curse and do not hold a professional mannerism at work. Luckily, on a resume, other companies won’t know how bottom of the barrel the company is to work for. Pay is very low. Hard to get out of position you were hired in.
