Pros

Plenty of members money to spend freely on pet projects and very expensive consultants

Cons

Chaos chasing Banker Dreams. Bunch of former Bankers now run the CU. Spending members money crazily and delivering very few results. Trying to move to an innovative future that never comes. Meanwhile leaving all the legacy systems that actually run everything to atrophy and suffer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate you offering your perspective. We recognize that large organizations can experience change in ways that feel inconsistent or unclear depending on individual roles and visibility into decision-making. Strategic investments, system modernization, and growth initiatives often happen in parallel, and their impact may not always be immediately visible at every level. We also understand that perceptions around priorities and outcomes can vary. Our focus remains on serving members effectively while continuing to evolve the organization in a responsible and sustainable way. Thank you again for sharing your input — feedback like this is helpful in understanding how different experiences can shape perspectives across the organization.

Pros

Self manage, managers don’t micro manage. Remote work. Great benefits. Good culture. Competitive pay.

Cons

There can be lots of changes when you’re hired.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s great to hear that you value the autonomy in your role, the trust from managers, and the flexibility of remote work. It’s also encouraging to see benefits, culture, and pay recognized as positives — those are important parts of the overall experience. We also understand your point about the pace of change, especially early on. Starting a new role can already be an adjustment, and navigating changes at the same time can add complexity. While change is often part of growth and improvement, your perspective is a helpful reminder of the importance of clear communication and support during those transitions. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Pros

With it being the largest credit union in WA, the benefits are competitive and the technology used during your shift is very intuitive.

Cons

As a teller it’s easy to get pidgen-holed and somewhat stuck in that department. The teller center gets ridiculously busy, helping an average of 30 people in a shift. The pay for me did not line up with the social/psychological exhaustion that eventually wears on you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that the benefits felt competitive and that the technology made your day-to-day work more intuitive. Those foundations matter, especially in a fast-paced environment. We also understand how demanding a teller role can be. Serving a high volume of members — especially in busy centers — requires patience, focus, and emotional energy. We appreciate the efforts you put forth during your time with us. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It highlights both the strengths of the experience and the realities of front-line work, and that perspective is valuable.
