Pros

Pay PAy PAY That's abouot the best thing about the company. They do not mind paying a better than average salary.

Cons

Management is set on "owning" its employees. Time-off, not here, constant harassment and guilt trips for not answering phones or working on days off. Managers are in over their heads, no experience for level they have been promoted to and make juvenile decisions that affects people’s lives. Managers lie to their subordinates and set them up as fall guys when things go wrong.

Pros

Great benefits, salary, 401K matching, flexible work schedule. Love the people I worked with. Treated employees right even during separation.

Cons

Reorganization constantly and result in layoffs. No one feels his/her job is safe from top to bottom. Trying to run the petroleum business like the mining business. Underestimated the challenges and the lesson learned are costly. Management change often and it's hard to understand the directions/vision and also hard for management to know what you have done for the company. Not a good way to build trust and relationship. The turnover rate from VP and above levels in the last couple of years is not encouraging.

Confused Company Culture

Pros

Work on some great projects, can lead to international work and the company truly takes care of their employees.

Cons

The company is changing cultures, and is heavily pushing Diversity and Inclusion, to the point where during college recruiting any candidate that "Fit the bill" was to be brought to the senior recruiters attention immediately. They are quickly filling a quota but have recently laid off any employees that don't share the same personality traits as their department. (Hunting and Fishing for field work.)
