Pros

Strong supportive culture, great data, modern work environment; safe to speak up culture

Cons

Constant uncertainty, layoffs, mergers - last 4 years have been incredibly disruptive. Limited risk taking. Large clunky mining company trying to compete in petroleum space. Bogged down in process, oversight. All decision making stays at the top. Gender is explicitly used in hiring and firing as the company strives to meet its 50:50 equality goals in all roles.

Pros

Lots of employee networks and ways to network. Social responsibility and ESG. Cutting edge technology. Worldwide operations

Cons

It's a large company with plenty of bureaucracy. In recent layoffs they have been accused of unfair practices.
