Pros

Great benefits and pay, including on site subsidized cafeteria. Nice office space and flexible work schedules. On site gym as well.

Cons

Lots of red tape, the simplest of tasks are made incredibly complicated if not altogether impossible. I'm not sure the money and benefits are worth the headache.

Pros

I used to work in remote location so the pay was really good. There were opportunities to work with some very smart people.

Cons

Although I understand the hazards of working on site, I thought the focus on safety sometimes went overboard. Depending on the area of work, some processes were excessively restrictive, not leaving room for creativity. People seemed miserable despite earning a lot. Seemed like the salary didn't make up for working on a remote location after a while. Engineers thought they were the only smart people.
