Pros

Value based company - employees lives its values each day (noting that like anywhere there are times where these can take a backseat) REM - remuneration is above market rates and generous Scale of operations - unparalleled in resources and gives you the opportunity to work on the biggest projects and mine sites Diversity of opportunities - the scale of BHP means there is always a new place and function to explore and learn about

Cons

- Limited long term career progression for non technical personnel - Potential to be boxed in as an automaton without real consideration for development - Going through a 'cost out' process and roles are consistently being reviewed
