      Great pay and good benefits if you can withstand workload, and you land in a department with ethical fair management.

      Pros

      Clear career ladder opportunity with fair pay, and exceptional benefits.

      Cons

      Work life balance, lack of enforcement of charter values at management and peer level. Multiple meetings and required review procedures and reporting make it stressful and unattainable to actually get to work needing to be done. Lots of jumping around. At the end of the day, for stress level, work-life balance, and dignity... had to part ways.

      Pros

      Great pay and benefits! The company pays more than lip service to it's commitment to sustainability (keeping employees/contractors safe, operating responsibly, protecting the environment, etc.).. Many A+ managers and individual contributors. World class assets. Good leadership at the helm of the corporation and the Petroleum business. Plenty of opportunity to build your own career and be rewarded for it provided you are willing to put forth the effort required.

      Cons

      Dealing with draconian processes and bureaucracies can be cumbersome. Under previous administrations a culture of fear emerged and many people were hesitant to take vacation or sick time for fear of not doing some work. This is improving.
