Opportunity to work on world class projects and in world class operations. Impressing the right people will get you far up the career ladder.

Cons

When those people that you impressed leave the organisation your career stagnates. Inflexible working conditions - was forced to cancel my own self-funded study, was given a hard-time for taking time-off to care for my family.

Cons

Long hours when pushing a projrct deadline, lack of investment in research and development, leading to painstaking hours attending breakdowns.
