      slow, ridiculously slow process

      Pros

      above average benefits for now. van pool is paid by the company, but it is not easy to do because of so many meetings and late hours you have to work. It was not easy to start a van pool.

      Cons

      very slow process for almost everything; need approval for almost anything. computer network has been so slow that you cannot really do much serious seismic work; micromanaged; single minded, very little lateral collaboration.

      Pros

      The salary and beneifts are above average.

      Cons

      Feckless management (people in positions which they do not have the skills, either technical or managerial, to perfom), total lack of work/life balance, top down management and internal polltics stifling any and all initiatives.

      Company does not seem to care about employees. Felt like I did not matter. Right hand does not know what left hand is doing.
