      Pros

      I worked as an engineer and you are most likely to be based in remote locations for engineering post. The culture and work/life balance is great and the pay is good during the mining boom (now). Overall pretty happy with the environment.

      Cons

      Location can be an issue and would really like to see more international opportunities. You lose a lot of networking opportunity with other firms when you are not based in the city.
