Pros

If you're not in the Ayman appreciation society, there is none

Cons

This company under the leadership of the current CEO has spiraled constantly downward, the last large Reduction in Force followed by the recent announcement of the deferment of merit increases is a slap in the face to the workforce as they, at the same time see the executive leadership team stick their noses in the trough. KKR must be scrambling now on how to get their investment back and offload the company, Advice for anyone thinking of joining this company ... don't

Pros

My direct management and team

Cons

BMC has zero strategy and an executive leadership team that can only make decisions in the best interest of them and their private equity owners, not the other 99.9% of employees. If your long term strategy changes every 6-12 months, then you don't have a strategy at all. BMC's idea of "growth" is just continually cutting costs, even if that means not giving the employees they decide to keep their annual increases to keep up with market and cost of living. Ayman, the CEO, is a poor communicator and a terrible leader, which the executive team follows. Quit acting like we are some sort of cutting edge company and can compete with the likes of Broadcom and ServiceNow. Let's stick with continuously improving and investing at what we are good at and quit trying to fix a problem line of business. If you can't fix it in over a decade, cut ties and move on.
