      Very nice people and good place to work if you want a suburban/family lifestyle.

      Pros

      While the salary seem to be lower, the benefits are above average and geared towards those with a family. The people at BMO are very nice, people you would like to have as your neighbors.

      Cons

      The Canadian management does not seem to accurately value US operations or staff. While the employees are nice, they don't seem to be the cream of the crop and seem more accepting of the status quo than superior performance. There was more emphasis on doing it "there way" instead of a better way.

      Pros

      BMO is one of the stable employers in Canada. It is best place for someone who wants a job not a career. It is a typical 9-5 shop. Just do your job and you will be fine.

      Cons

      Compensation is average for regular staff. It rains $$$ for management guys. Health Benefits are definitely poor. It is very hard to get promoted. There is lot of red tapism and bureaucracy. There is lot of dead wood in the organization that needs to be cleaned up.
