      i just started as a summer intern. the hours are good,no pressure at all. the work is easy so far.

      Cons

      it's not like cubical. so you dont any privacy. ppl who are working there are very experienced, so it's hard to get promoted.

      Lots of opportunities for movement across country, decent hiring practices but needs work on better work on hiring right people for the right position

      Cons

      Too formal, needs more real-life training as computer and paper-based is too lengthy and not sufficient. Needs to play catch up all the time with technology

      Pros

      BMO is one of the stable employers in Canada. It is best place for someone who wants a job not a career. It is a typical 9-5 shop. Just do your job and you will be fine.

      Cons

      Compensation is average for regular staff. It rains $$$ for management guys. Health Benefits are definitely poor. It is very hard to get promoted. There is lot of red tapism and bureaucracy. There is lot of dead wood in the organization that needs to be cleaned up.
