      Big name, big buerocracy

      Pros

      Fairly flexible in terms of hours and good work life balance. Good reputation in Canada. Lots of perks such as free banking, and work environment is very good.

      Cons

      An extremely large organization so it tends to be very beurocratic with a lot of red tape. Promotions are not very transparent and this leads to some resentment within staff.

      Pros

      Working for one of Canada's biggest banks yields benefits such as a good medical benefits package and participation in the Employee Share Ownership Program. While working there you will obtain extensive knowledge of the investment industry.

      Cons

      Demanding daily phone log-in times. You are expected to take call after call and are afforded minimal time to complete necessary administrative tasks. Sales targets are also challenging to meet and are tracked via a questionable system.

      Pros

      In the term of hiring a qualified employee, the hiring procedrue is unkown. Some managers promoted their employers based on how close relationship the employees with them no matter whether they meet the basic reqirement or not.

      Cons

      Overall it is top 50 employer in Canada. If yuo are looking for entry level position, it is not bad place to start.
