Pros

If you apply yourself, and be patient, it's possible to rise the ranks to management. The company literally push training (in-house and external) at you, allowing you to develop and become very skilled. Excellent benefits working for BMW (such as the car scheme!). The launch of new models in the MINI range means the life of the company is getting bigger, longer, and more demanding. Very good outlook for the company.

Cons

Takes a long time to gain pay-grades and promotions. Upper management can sometimes be socially awkward and a little 'robotic'.

Pros

It is the leading company for technology in automotive industry, and it has good working conditions. Also engineers can get much opportunity to grow skills. And also the brand is respected by society.

Cons

It is not a very international company, it is too German. As a foreign employee, I have to learn and get used to the German thinking and way of working before I can work and contribute to the company. Also there is much difference between German employees and foreigners.
