      Great place to work though opportunities in the smaller branches may be limited.

      Pros

      BNP Paribas recognizes hard work but is also flexible in terms of balancing family and workload. The company does promote from within and is willing to provide the necessary training.

      Cons

      Opportunities in the smaller branches could be limited thus relocation may be necessary for career growth. Given the current situation in Europe, further layoffs may be necessary.

      Good safe bank but very hard to get promoted if you are not French.

      Pros

      Good office location in London, nice people, good building. Small investiment banking arm so easy to get a voice and projects done/signed off.

      Cons

      No good if you do not speak French. Its almost impossible to move internaly within the bank due to your current manager deciding/authorising the move dates (to their needs).
