Good work / life balance, and those with ambition, drive and energy do well. A good team environment where success is rewarded.

Cons

Not always a joined up approach across different teams - need to have better management oversight and communication and a more collaborative approach.

Pros

Culture is starting to change, moving toward a more technology led investments company which is interesting and exciting to be a part of.

Cons

Change will take time, still pockets of mediocre performance within a small number of teams that needs to be driven out. Board of directors is not geographically diverse, it is very US-centric, which doesn't reflect BNY Mellon being a global firm.
