      Pros

      The best reasons would be if your interested in pursuing a career in compliance and accounting go for this job, if its sales your looking for, go elsewhere!

      Cons

      They are over-ridden with compliance rules and regulations, it hampers sales efforts and their internal politics warfare stifles productivity and innovation ultimately leading to stagflation, which goes hand in hand with our current economic situation.

      Pros

      If you are a mediocre employee, this is the place for you.

      Cons

      Lower and middle management lack skills and often do not hold employees accountable for their mistakes as the head count may be lost if an employee is dismissed. The company's brand and values are not properly understood by either the staff or outsiders.

      Pros

      The work is undemanding and job security is reasonably safe. A good place to start in the industry I think but not as a long-term carrer plan. Unless of course you are bureactically minded and good at office politics.

      Cons

      I got thie impression that the departments acted as a collection of petty fiefdoms each living in its micro-world. There never seemed to be any overall plan or inter-departmentcommunication. There always used to be lots and lots of meetings were nothing was really achieved in the end. Promotion is based on who the department boss likes rather than ability and if you have an enquiring mind and a desire to progress this is not the place for you.
