Upper management has no idea what they are doing. They gutted half of my team because we were all hired as remote employees and they want to return to office. They did this without a plan in place and they are now scrambling to keep clients happy by overloading work on the remaining people on our team while they struggle to find replacements for the people they laid off. They even went as far as to lay off one member on my team and then hire her back because of how short staffed it left us. So far we have hired 2 replacements and fired both of them because they could not do the job. They also look for any reason they a find to make sure that you don't get a raise or bonus.

The company is trying to cut costs in terms of labor as much as possible, using AI and outsourcing work to overseas employees. This means that your value is questionable and the longer you’re there it seems like it’s hard to move up because they really only need entry level employees for the majority of the work, at least in my department
