Pros

The company is currently in a serious growth phase which makes it an exciting place to be if you are looking for challenges, delivering projects and taking part in a great success story. Most of the staff is truly passionate and engaged into the company success and work hard in a collaborative matter to deliver according to plan. Consumers remain one of the focal point feeding product development, marketing communications and other related services. Most members of the top management stay in close touch with the products which leads to rich and relevant internal discussions. Offices are well located Quebec: central Montreal in very nice offices or surrounded by nature in the Eastern Townships (also generally new offices).

Cons

Growth impacts the company’s culture. Some of the entrepreneurial spirit and collegiality/conviviality that characterised BRP in its early days (2000s) is making way to performance imperatives. Some internal workings are up to date for a company of this stature, other needs to be updated. For instance, seizing business opportunities may be synonymous of multiple meetings, discussions, knee jerking and frustrations. Work hard, for sure, work smart, not always. Employee experience is not always balanced. You may experience moments of strong pride and other wondering how so little attention got into some other parts of belonging to this company. The path to career progress within the organisation is not always clear.
