sketchy and disconcerting

Pros

most co-workers are great to work with and very dedicated to BRP and the Evinrude product

Cons

Management does not plan or staff for a 8 hour, 5-day production schedule. Working Saturdays on the assembly line and both Saturdays and Sundays in machining are considered to be the norm and there is little to no effort to address the underlying problems. There is also a lot of high brow "business-y" talk at monthly update meetings, almost as though management is trying to show off how smart they think they are.

Pros

The products are unbelievable and brand is very strong among enthusiasts.

Cons

Aggressive targets and bonus compensation becomes very difficult to achieve. Too many product lines makes it difficult to focus on growing all of them simultaneously.

Pros

They give you free pizza once in awhile.

Cons

This list grows as I’ve been here. Seems like just another company that does not appreciate they’re employees at all from Quality Control down to assembly. This place is dwindling and they don’t care at all. Big “shutting down production” vibes here. They play around with everyone’s hours and don’t seem to want to hire anyone even though they need people. They give out pto only to force people to use it because of the huge amount of unpaid “no production” days. I will say that this isn’t a review of BRP as a whole but rather there MI pontoon areas.
