Pros

Lots of responsibility and senior level exposure from the get go across a wide range of projects. Good support structure within an ambitious team and strong opportunities for development/progression. Makes sense if you want to deliver consultancy style work and variety but at a more senior level and see results through to fruition as well as developing longer term relationships and stripping out the PD/BD required in Big 4/external consultancies.

Cons

Need to be resilient to deliver some of the more challenging change programmes across such a large organisation. Like consultancy working hours ebb and flow but team is always fair about work life balance.

Pros

Very good compensation and benefits. Good chances to grow in your career. Exposure to a multi-national environment. Very good learning tools.

Cons

High pressure for results. Low tolerance for mistakes. Local decisions require approval from the headquarters in UK.
