Terrible management. Poor training. Lack of opportunity for growth. Treated like a commodity. Management constantly says the reason they can't do something is because of the Union.

Using most of the techniques in the PMBOK. There is a Project Managment office or PMO at this company. The PM is the main project administrator, technical input comes from the engineers. This is a good place to get PM exposre in it's purest form

Cons

Not enough staff. People are overworked. The company is bidding on many smaller jobs as well as the unique complicated ones leading to challenges to the available bandwidth
