I’ve had a really positive experience working with Babel Audio. The company seems very new and is clearly growing quickly - you can feel that momentum, both the exciting parts and the growing pains. What makes a big difference is the people. The community of contributors and support team is genuinely kind, responsive, and thoughtful. It is so fun to get to work with such a diverse group of people each day. The work itself is engaging and genuinely fun, especially if you enjoy audio (or just talking). Projects are structured, and once you understand the expectations, it feels rewarding to contribute. There’s also something exciting about being part of a network that’s growing as fast as Babel Audio — you can see the evolution and improvement over time.
Cons
Because the company is growing quickly, things can sometimes feel too fast changing or slightly chaotic, especially when all the project leads are busy. Processes occasionally evolve mid-stream as systems improve. It helps to be adaptable and comfortable with change, but the direction of that change is generally positive.
