Best Place to Start Out

Pros

-Lots of support for those without experience -Healthy work environment -Relaxed attendance policy -Easy to give away/swap shifts -Competitive PTO offering for hourly employees -May contest termination and be reinstated at a different location

Cons

-Lack of employee accountability at all levels -No auto gratuity on large parties -Overstaffing hurts tipped worker earnings -Upward mobility is virtually ZERO. I knew a manager who didn’t get promoted until being a server for 9 years. I’ve seen several other people of varying positions NOT get promoted after being fantastic employees for 5+ years.
