They are flexible with scheduling, somewhat.

Trash clientele when it comes to leaving gratuity, I have never worked at a restaurant where this is such a problem. It could be a table that had no issues or complaints, you'll just get 10-15%. Sometimes great service receives the deserved 20%, but it sucks when you have to tip out and aren't getting what you need to make ends meet. BTW they write the suggested 15%, 18%, and 20% on the bottom and it says "tip not included", so I doubt there's much confusion. If you're not a favorite, forget it. You'll get the worst sections and the hosts won't seat you often.
