Pros

Collaborative, private company, employee owned, with a long term focus. Baird prides itself on being the employer of choice among middle market firms.

Cons

Compensation is below industry averages, partly offset by other factors, such as high employee morale and stable platform. Technology and compliance seem to lag competitors.

Pros

-Very good work/life balance, hardly ever worked more than 40-45 hours/week -Friendly atmosphere -Easy to contact any department for help with a task

Cons

-Slow to advance with new technology -Ridiculous regulations and policies intended to "protect clients" actually produce a hindrance more than anything and are borderline micro-management
