Pros

Management has integrity and has kept their promises to me over time. The people are great - smart, hard-working, but also nice people. Mentorship is highly promoted and collaboration is frequent.

Cons

Milwaukee office is fairly incestuous. Most of the men up there have stay at home wives taking care of them (they don't have dual-career family challenges).

Pros

- High deal velocity provides ample opportunities for personal development. - Senior management team has been consistent and predictable; during downturn, very few people were let go, as management took a long-term view - Platform growth provides room for upward career progression

Cons

- Like any investment bank, work hours can be brutal - Some mid-level bankers (lateral hires), still learning middle market (vs. bulge bracket) territory - Some elements of the workflow are non-value added, and could be eliminated to improve the lives of the junior team
