      You can gain a lot of experience and training that is completely transferrable into other positions and agencies. Getting Certifications that are recognized and accredited are often expensive, but if it enhances your ability to do your job they will make sure you get it.

      Cons

      Politics, egos, sense of self-worth are overboard.
