Decent benefits although they are somewhat tilted toward long-term employees. Good place to gain early career experience.

Cons

Run by a network of Good Ol' Boys who mainly protect the status quo. Upper management consistently tries to quell free thinking, creativity and resourcefulness.

Pros

Enjoy job functions to which I am assigned. I am outgoing and really enjoy being around the members of the center.

Cons

Position is labeled "Activity Specialist" however, the position is actually Assistant Director. The Activity Specialist position pays considerably less then what duties are actually being performed. Also, employees transferred without consulting/considering employee's wishes.
