Dissapointing

Pros

Good benefits (i.e. meal vouchers, bike to the office, mobile + internet plans covered)

Cons

- Pay is relatively low + bonuses/raises have been frozen for the past year or so. - Inflexible remote work policies clash with the business reality - Even though the company says no to working from home, the reality is we have offices all over the world. Many of us work with teams in different countries and time zones, so sticking to strict in-office rules just doesn’t make sense for how we actually get things done. - Unwritten but enforceable policies. - Huge communication issues between business partners - mainly causedby a lack of clear direction from C-level leaders.

Great company, if you're based in Raleigh NC

Pros

Healthcare plan, extended lunch hours, stock options etc. A lot of the people you meet in the business are great at what they do and are happy to help. The 'whole person' ethos driven by the CEO can really be felt across the organisation and the company really does care about and look after its people.

Cons

They've recently announced they're closing the UK office to go fully remote and laid off individuals that were the life and soul of the EMEA team. The EMEA team feels disjointed and deflated now we don't meet or collaborate as an organisation. Products and processes are very US centric and the 'international' (i.e non-US) org feels like an afterthought with product leaders coming over to present new products/initiatives we're launching that will be released in the US but not over here. Job perks (i.e free on-site gym memberships, lunches, childcare etc.) don't generally get replicated outside of HQ. If you're not based in Raleigh it feels like you're often on the outside looking in

Pros

This was, by far, the best place I'd ever worked till last week. Benefits are standard, salary is OK - work life balance used to be excellent, making salary more than OK. Career prospects are excellent, a well oiled machine with many very knowledgeable and driven people (for now). The people that work here are among the most genuine, hard working and kind hearted I've ever had the pleasure to work with. The management under Bandwidth I'd experienced has been exemplary.

Cons

As many have said, there has been a clear mandate to "return to the office" 5 days a week in the very near future. CRO not seeing eye to eye with a few key people has been observed, lead to some churn. Likely very significant churn ahead, key senior individuals and junior members alike. Already lost a few, long standing, very senior folk.
