Pros

1. They care about your overall health 2. Outside of being on call there is respect for your life outside work and encouragement for a healthy lifestyle 3. At least for a developer there are small teams which means you get to do interesting things 4. The free health insurance is super nice

Cons

1. Not always the most honest. They swore up and down no layoffs but a couple of teams were laid off without a company announcement. I was told I would be hybrid and they only gave me a couple days to sign the offer letter. Then they switched to it being fully in the office. 2. Huge emphasis on sales. This is actually good for the company I think, but it is a bummer when you aren't in sales and they tell you about all the trips and fun things the sales teams get to do. 3. Although generally very emphatic about moral business, they do send a large portion of the political text messages if you have a problem with that. 4. Very low merit increases.

Pros

Lots of creative freedom, good culture, independence as a developer and team, people are nice and respectful, easy pace of work, good benefits and pay. The business could be very successful if they make some hard decisions. There are a lot of very intelligent folks at the company with a wide skillset.

Cons

DevOps work is loaded onto developers, self-service is the ultimate desire for everything, teams have to have a lot of specific knowledge, the subject matter is very dry, managers have little to no buy-in on teams, sinking lots of effort into a bad acquisition, team leaders have no real authority but are told they should, the organization has too many middle managers to the number of developers and lots of siloing occurs between teams
