Pros

The management for each branch gets to call their own shots on a few of the minor policies so you were able to escalate and advocate for your customer when an exception makes sense. It is not a high pressure job and does not have high sales quotas in the slightest. The dress code is more casual than some other banks. The benefits package is standard for a bank job. It is consistent hours.

Cons

The opportunities for advancement are not abundant. At the end of the day it is an entry level customer service job. Occasionally being scheduled to work a Saturday. Sometimes incredibly rude or intimidating customers are not confronted by management when escalated.
