Mission-driven company with a different approach from other PE firms that manage strictly by the numbers - prioritizing profit over health. Banyan keeps their word to sellers, they invest in growth and technical strategy while still running disciplined businesses. Supportive of people and great long-term place for good companies to land.

Cons

No real cons although not the best company for you if are not an AI believer and highly motivated!

Banyan HQ is well aligned and sets a high talent bar. The operating company CEOs are fantastic: a mix of founders and hired leaders, which makes the peer group useful for testing ideas and learning. David's leadership combines clear vision with execution.

Cons

The pace is fast. New CEOs should plan to lean on the peer network early to get up to speed.

Progressive, results-oriented company with committed and enthusiastic leadership.

Cons

Banyan sets lofty, sometimes idealistic, visions and expects that you figure out how to make them happen. The autonomy is appreciated, but I think team members would benefit from more explicit examples of implementation.
