One of the better hospitals in San Antonio. Employees seem to truly care about their patients.

Cons

Since being bought by Tenet, staffing has been cut to a minimum.

Pros

They are super flexible with people who are still in school. For the most part, great coworkers. Not a huge work load. A lot of downtime.

Cons

Usual politics are present. Lab gets treated like crap by all other departments, including administration. Nursing staff is not very bright. Administration caters to nursing staff.

Pros

Hospital general orientation was great. The staff was fired up and excited to welcome us aboard. The speakers were knowledgeable and entertaining.

Cons

No comraderie between co-workers at all. People constantly come in late and always with a long face dreading to be there. I have only been there a short time and they treat the new people horribly. Cant wait to relocate!
